So, I decided to "feel the fear and do it anyway". I booked a one-way ticket to England and the rest as they say is history. It wouldn't be until later I realized what a massive life changing decision that would prove for my personal story. I remember a woman saying to me "either you're crazy or very very brave." I can laugh now thinking back on that conversation, but the truth was I don't think I was neither crazy or brave, I simply wanted a change and made one simple decision. Okay, maybe it wasn't so simple, but it was a decision to do something different!
In the years that would follow, the seeds of 'Oasis Life Resources' would be born. Did I realize that then? Oh no! The only thing that I realized, after spending 7 hours with immigration explaining my one-way ticket, was I had lost my mind or so I thought at the time. However, I had a goal of owning my own business. Later that "goal" became my passion for helping people with their own personal development. In time, after 3 years of professional training, MentorCoach LLC and Protective Behaviours LLC, I learned to follow that passion as a life coach.
Being a life coach is my dream come true; it's not what I do, but who I am. However, being your life coach is about helping you make your dreams come true. It will be a commitment to asking you the right questions and having the right tools to empower you in finding the answers to accomplishing your goals. And it will be a commitment to holding you accountable to that dream.
